Christmas Without You

Christmas without you here with me,
can never possibly be the same.
But I carry an Angel within my heart;
one so precious, who has your name.

An Angel forever watching over me,
at Christmas time, and over the year.
Although you can't be here anymore,
inside my heart, you are so very near.

There is no special present for you,
wrapped up under my Christmas tree.
But I have a greater gift to give to you;
all the love you can still feel from me.

No, Christmas time without you here,
could not ever possibly be the same.
But, I have had the precious gift of you,
and the memories and love, will remain.

My Christmas Tree - by Sharon Wheeler

I’ve just put up my Christmas tree,
Over my rainbow in the sky.
I’ve got hundreds of presents,
So, why do you sit there and cry?

The lights are shining brightly,
My Angel friends are here,
This is going to be the best,
And I love it, don’t you fear.

The tables are set already,
It will be th biggest banquet Christmas Day,
And all my Angel friends and me,
Will be looking down your way.

So when you light your candles,
Just look up to the sky,
For it will brightly shine with ours,
So be happy, please don’t cry.

I can’t wait for Christmas,
Over my rainbow in the sky,
Let’s all enjoy it together,
Instead of the “ifs” and “why’s”

Be happy on this Christmas morn,
I will visit that’s for sure,
And then I shall return to my party,
Behind that rainbows door.

We're wondering what Christmas in Heaven is like
As we grieve alone and pray,
longing for one who has gone before
To spend Christmas in Heaven today..

And so in our dreams we wander far
From the scenes and sounds of earth
‘Til we catch the strains of the Heavenly choir
As they sing of the Christ Child's birth. .

The Angels we envision there
As they join in the festive play
And there amid the throng is our Loved One
Spending Christmas in Heaven today..

There's joy in the faith that teaches
When our life's work is done
Of a place in Heaven awaiting
And the crown we worked for is won..

In our grief may we learn well the lesson
So to work and suffer and pray
As to merit the joys of our loved one

Merry Christmas So They Say..

Merry Christmas so they say. I smile and try not to look away. Happy Holidays to you and yours. I wonder if they can see behind my smile and how I am missing you so. This time of year is supposed to warm your heart but it only makes my heart break for we are apart. I trim the tree and think of you. I wrap the presents but all I see is you. Your f...ace your eyes, I look to the sky for I find peace there. My eyes scan the sky for a touch of you. Are you there in that bright star? Will I one day join you so we are not so far apart? I love you my child. Always near close to my heart, on that shining star both someday we will be and will never be apart. So Merry Christmas to you Happy Holidays to all. For me I will be looking at the bright star biding my time till we are together forever. No more missing no more sorrow
Happy forever in the land of tomorrow.
